Enabling Java on some OS and browser combinations:

  • Windows / Intel

    • Internet Explorer

      • Select the Tool Menu within your Internet Explorer browser.
      • Select Internet Options... item from the View menu.
      • Make sure the Java JIT compiler enabled box is checked. More info.

    • Netscape Navigator

      • Select the Edit Menu within your Netscape browser.
      • Select Preferences... item from the Edit menu.
      • Make sure the Enabel Java is checked.

  • Macintosh

    • Internet Explorer

      • Select the Edit Menu on your Internet Explorer.
      • Select Preferences... item from the Edit menu.
      • Make sure the Enable Java box is checked.

    • Netscape Navigator

      • Netscape Navigator 4.0x for Mac, only supports a Java 1.0 virtual machine.
